Our Purple Label "Indio" is a wonderful tasting Amelonado cacao from Matagalpa, Nicaragua. We love the smooth, rich flavors of this ancient Lower Amazon cacao! We also love the expressions of delight we regularly see on our customers' faces once they taste our Cacao Indio chocolates!

Our Indio cacao is roasted lightly leaving more of the subtle character of the cacao to shine through. Subtle hints of vanilla give way to creamy chocolate tones as the chocolate melts in the mouth, followed by pleasant raisin, almond and coffee notes and a perfect chocolate-milkshake finish.
